DESCRIPTION: French figural alabaster 8 day time and strike mantel clock, selling with three cast metal candelabras with hanging cut glass pendants, c1880
CONDITION: the clock, originally on a stand under a glass dome, has nice spelter figures of seated huntress, dog and bird,, with "Ph. Mourey" stamped on the back. It stone base, with some chips and cracks, has gilt cast-metal accents and feet. It's Japy movement needs a rear retaining ring, bell and pendulum, and its white porcelain dial has hairlines. The cast brass figures and the other parts of the three candle stand have some spotting, and the solid marble rectangular bases have minor edge chips. We have not attached all the glass pendants (there are many more) for the photo, but these make an impressive display. Ht of tallest candle stand /girandole 15.5"
